Our Approach:

Next, the Develop phase spans three to sixteen weeks and is designed to build confidence and competency in foundational movements. With customized one-on-one training, we focus on correcting imbalances, improving movement quality, and developing an understanding of intensity and communication with your coach.

As you progress, you enter the Ascend phase, which lasts twelve to thirty-six weeks. This stage emphasizes increased independence, refining movement skills, and developing a resilient mind and body. Training sessions transition toward more independent workouts while still providing guidance and structure to ensure progress.

Finally, the Freedom phase is an ongoing process where you apply everything you have learned to live an active and pain-free life. With continued training and support, you master movement intensity, safely engage in activities outside the gym, and maintain long-term wellness.

Our personal training follows a structured approach to help you move better, gain strength, and build confidence in your body.

The first phase, Assess, lasts one to three weeks and is revisited as needed. This stage focuses on understanding your history, goals, movement patterns, and skill level. Through a joint-by-joint movement screen, custom competency and tolerance tests, and in-depth interviews, we establish a clear starting point and roadmap for your progress.

Since our training programs are highly personalized, we require an initial consultation before enrolling.

I first came to Riverview Centre’s Wellness Center seeking help with mobility issues from old injuries, particularly my shoulder. After more than a year of cortisone shots and serious consideration of Reverse and Run shoulder replacement surgery, I had lost significant strength and range of motion. Surgery was starting to feel like my only option.

However, working with Ian and the team changed everything. Through ongoing coaching and training, I have not only regained significant shoulder mobility but am also rebuilding strength—something I was beginning to think was no longer possible. Beyond my shoulder, I’ve experienced major improvements in pain relief, mobility, and strength in my knee and back as well.
